Five, large shell bracelets attached together with a vertical band of woven plaited fiber covered with three rows of nassa shells. These stunning accessories are symbols of wealth. They are made by cutting clam shell rings or bracelets from giant clam shells using a bamboo knife. Historically, these pieces were and are still being used today for trade between coastal villages, in special ceremonies, or given as marriage dowries. Comes on custom black metal stand.
