Product Details

Money rings are made from clam shell and were originally created in Papua New Guinea to be used as currency to pay for bride dowries and other expensive items. The hole inside the money ring is drilled using a stock of bamboo. Using ancient techniques, the rough edges are smoothed outusing silica sand. Our replica money ring comes with a custom metal stand for display. Purchase separately or pair with a second small or large money ring for a unique statement.
