Metal, Bead & Shell Mask from West Africa
We are unsure as to the origins of this piece but believe it to be a modern mask done in the artistic style of Dan masks from the people of Liberia and Ivory Coast who are known for their decorative masks used primarily for entertainment. The mask features a face that is covered in a thin layer of metal and decorated with beads and cowrie shells. It measures 13 inches tall and weighs 2 pounds. The stand is not included but one can be added for an additional fee. Very unique piece that looks just as amazing on a wall or displayed on a stand.
Stand sold separately.
