Cuban Painting - "Vaso Ceremonial Quimbaya"
Signed and dated 1963 watercolor or gouache by Cuban artist, Julio Castaño, titled "Vaso Ceremonial Quimbaya." The back of the painting bears a stamp (in Spanish) from the National Museum of Cuba indicating that the work is authorized for export. The painting was executed on a watercolor-style paper and was rolled up for several years. It has been backed (not adhered to) with foam core for ease of display and will be shipped in a plastic covering. The edges and the corners show a fair amount of wear, but is in amazing condition for its age. Ready for the frame of your choice!
